Cookbook of the Month

1 April 2009 No Comment

I’m shamelessly stealing an idea from … um … someone whose food blog I RSS. (If it’s you, please let me know so I can give you credit.) In the hopes that it will get me to make new recipes and stretch my wings both cooking-wise and photography-wise, I’m going to pick a cookbook from my shelf each month and choose recipes specifically for blogging.

My hope is to do between 15-20 recipes per month – although that might be ambitious when combined with other challenges I’ve set myself, plus work, plus … etc.

We’ll see.

So for this month, my cookbook of choice will be one that I used to cook out of a lot, but recently have kind of let slip to the back of the bookcase: Nigella Bites: From Family Meals to Elegant Dinners — Easy, Delectable Recipes For Any Occasion

I’ll be posting some of the recipes that I want to try later this week. I have several hours in the airport coming up in which I can leisurely read through the book and mark things I want to try.

Stay tuned.
