Friday Roundup 10

The Friday Roundup is my weekly list of things that don’t rate a standalone post but that I found interesting. It’s been cold at night and so we’ve been keeping a fire going in the fireplace which may be my favorite part of winter. Work has picked up significantly this week so that’s been keeping me busy but look for another recipe next week and possibly a yard/garden post.

  • Who else has been watching the Olympics? I subscribed to Peacock in order to be able to stream them on my office TV. It took me a little bit to figure out the interface but now that I have, I’m enjoying being able to stream to my office TV.
  • I renewed my Costco membership this past week and it made me think that I should do a post on some of the things I regularly buy from there.
  • My friend Jenny is looking for a home for a foster kitten and has posted about it here. Please take a look if you know of anyone who is would be interested in finding a home for a young, cuddly, playful boy: Find a Home for Felix.
  • I have always been an Excel spreadsheet person and I run my life from an Excel spreadsheet that I’ve been keeping for over 20 years now. It’s got well over 100 tabs and I use it to track everything from my budget and my bills to my vacation planning to what I’m going to plant in the garden. But recently I decided to try TrueBill and I’m really enjoying using it. It’s made me look at my finances in a little bit of a different way and I think I’m going to keep up with it for at least this year to see if it gives me more insights into my spending.
  • I keep meaning to post Zach’s biscuits but we never seem to be in the house that has the camera for proper blog post pictures. I’m going to try to make it happen this Saturday!
  • Watch this video all the way to the end – it’s adorable! Stuck-a-saurus!

Happy Friday and I hope everyone has a great weekend!
